After more than two years of work invested in this photographic project, a new stage is opening that will undoubtedly be marked by the “new normality” and that will surely pose some difficulty or cause some reasonable reserve or anxiety.

The social distancing marked by the confinement has meant for me a forced move away from the Limia during these last weeks, relieved if anything by the regular contact with friends and collaborators, but I feel that the time is approaching to resume contacts and plan new interviews to complete this human cartography of the Limia.

In any case, we have to be very respectful and responsible with the health recommendations and some dynamics of the project will be adapted to the new reality to avoid unnecessary risks (especially with the most vulnerable people) and I do not rule out prolonging the postponement until we return to “traditional” normality.
